WHY IS"RELATIVE STRENGTH"SO IMPORTANT?

Relative strength refers to one's strength to body weight ratio. In optimizing this ratio, you maximize potential. Same person, different body weight- is it a new PR? Examine how the percentages stack up. At Iron Athletics, we pose the question- "if losing or gaining weight on the scale equates to losing strength, is it worth it?" To us, weight loss or muscle gain is more about ability.
